Hi, I’m Megan Shull, and I’ve been helping children, teens, and adults build confidence and independence through communication since 2007. I’m a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist, and I specialize in complex areas like Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Feeding Disorders. I teach AAC courses for CIAO seminars and I’ve been featured in DFW Child Magazine, on Shoutout DFW, and Practice Care, a podcast hosted by Carl White.

After earning my Bachelor’s degree from Baylor University and my Master’s from the University of Texas at Dallas—where I focused on AAC—I began working with pediatric clients in outpatient settings. Over time, I expanded into inpatient, home health, school-based, and intensive programs, which ultimately inspired me to launch Building Bridges through Communication in 2014.

Today, my team and I work across Dallas, Denton, and Collin Counties, offering in-home, community-based, and in some cases virtual services tailored to individual needs. We’re especially passionate about supporting children and adults through major life transitions. From first words to long-term communication systems, everything we do is rooted in compassion, science, and real-world results.

In addition to my clinical work, I’m committed to mentoring other professionals and pushing our field forward through training and education. I’ve taught at universities, spoken at state and national conferences, and even taken my skills abroad to treat clients in Costa Rica.
