A Note from Megan Shull

Founder of Building Bridges Through Communication
Speech-Language Pathologist
AAC & Feeding Specialist
Bilingual Therapist

Hi, I’m Megan, a SLP, bilingual clinician, and founder of Building Bridges through Communication. When I started this practice in 2014, it was out of a deep desire to offer highly individualized, meaningful services to clients—and to build a therapy team that was truly valued and supported in their work.

I’ve been a Speech-Language Pathologist since 2007, with specialties in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Feeding Disorders. I’ve worked across settings—from outpatient clinics and schools to homes and hospitals—and I’ve seen the real difference it makes when therapists feel empowered to do their best work without being weighed down by red tape or bureaucracy.

At Building Bridges through Communication, we serve clients across Dallas, Denton, and Collin Counties, and we’re growing with purpose. Our small but mighty team offers compassionate care to clients of all ages, with a strong focus on transitioning adolescents and young adults—an often underserved group. We take a collaborative, family-centered approach, and we customize care plans using the latest research, tools, and therapies.

To support our team, I’ve created professional development programs like Building Connections and the Excellence in Therapeutic Support Program, because I believe every clinician deserves mentorship, shared knowledge, and room to grow. I bring that same drive to our team culture—where your voice is heard, your skills are nurtured, and your career goals actually matter.

If you’re a therapist who wants to make an impact, be part of a supportive team, and grow professionally while changing lives, I’d love to connect with you. Let’s build something meaningful—together.

At Building Bridges Through Communication, our mission is to empower individuals of all ages to communicate confidently and live more independently by providing compassionate, evidence-based speech and language, physical, occupational, medical nutrition, and behavioral health therapies. We are committed to fostering meaningful connections—between clients and therapists, families and communities—because we believe communication is the foundation for a vibrant, connected life. We’d love to hear more about you and your goals, so please provide your personal information below and we’ll contact you to discuss how our opportunities might fulfill your professional goals. Thanks for your interest in BBTC.
